How Does It Work?
Set up. A school administrator, teacher or AT professional signs up for an organization account with Capti (contact us at email@example.com to start a free trial and obtain a quote) and either sends invitations to students and instructors to create their accounts at captivoice.com or creates them manually. They can also install Capti on their own or school devices.
Distribute. Instructors assemble reading materials in collections called "Playlists" and distribute (share) them to students via Capti. Instructors can use Google Drive and other popular cloud services to upload content into their playlists. Instructors use Capti to create and administer assignments. Assignments can be linked to reading materials in a Playlist.
Benefit. Students listen to the reading materials in their Playlists and read along visually, if they want (view video tutorials). Students can take advantage of a variety of built-in premium learning supports such as translation and search. They can create their own Playlists and build their vocabulary (what is supported?) with built in exercises and translation tools.
